As indicated in the document "Principal Features of the Budget" circulated by the Minister for Finance on 25 March 1982 a sum of £130,000 has been provided to enable the Office of Ombudsman to be established during the current year. I hope to be in a position to put the necessary resolutions for the appointment of the Ombudsman to both Houses in the near future.
