Under the terms of the free transport scheme, it is necessary, before a special service may be established to a national school, that a minimum of ten eligible pupils in a distinct locality be available for transport. At present, only nine eligible pupils are offering in the area referred to by the Deputy. The matter will be re-examined in the light of the applications for transport for the coming school year.
