Under the community, youth, recreational and employment programme, Ballymore Community Centre Committee were provisionally allocated a grant of £25,000 towards the cost of constructing a community centre subject to full compliance with the terms and conditions of that programme.
An officer of my Department recently visited Ballymore and discussed participation in the programme with representatives of the committee. As a result of this meeting the Department are awaiting certain documentation requested from the local organisers. Pending receipt and examination of the further information required by my Department, I am unable to indicate when payment may be made from the grant amount provisionally allocated to Ballymore Community Centre Committee.
