The Land Commission made certain inquiries regarding the property last year following which they decided to take no steps towards its acquisition.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will arrange for the vesting of lands in the name of a person (details supplied) in County Galway.
These lands were included in a scheme for rearrangement of 14 intermixed holdings involving a series of inter-dependent exchanges of land. In such circumstances vesting of all the lands is effected simultaneously by a single composite order. In this case some investigations of title will be necessary before vesting can take place but there will be no avoidable delay in the matter. Dealings in the lands retained need not, however, await vesting of the lands involved in the exchange.
