The Labour Court recommendation in question has been accepted in principle but implementation of a feature of the recommendation relating to the basis of credit for sick leave taken prior to 1967 is presenting difficulties. The matter is under discussion between my Department and the Departments directly concerned and every effort is being made to bring it to a satisfactory conclusion as soon as possible.
