Vol. 333 No. 8

Written Answers. - Dublin (Special Education) School.

830.

asked the Minister for Education if he is aware of the deplorable state of St. Joseph's (Special Education) national school at Labre Park, Dublin 12, and of the urgent need for a new school; if he will now give approval for a new school; and when construction will commence.

An application for the replacement of St. Joseph's national school, Labre Park, by a new school was received in my Department in March 1982. The Commissioners of Public Works have been asked to report on the condition of the school and to furnish recommendations. The question of approval for a new school premises will be considered with due regard to this report.
