Because of the large number of officers concerned and the complex nature of the shift duty allowances payable there was a considerable amount of work involved in calculating the arrears due to each officer. Payment of arrears has been made to the vast majority of officers concerned. It is expected that payment will be made to the person concerned within the next two to three weeks.
