It is intended that the new post-primary school proposed for Castleknock will be provided by September 1985. Consultants for the project will be appointed within the next few weeks. The stages then required for the completion of the project are (1) Architectural planning, 12 months (approx); (2) Seeking of tenders and awarding of contract, 2-3 months; (3) Construction period completion and handover, 15-18 months.
