As this is a matter concerning the entitlement to expenses of a member of the Garda Síochána, which is a disciplined force, I do not consider it appropriate to deal with it in a reply to a parliamentary question. If the member feels that he has a genuine grievance (which I do not accept he has) it is open to him to have it dealt with through the usual official channels.
