The only inter-departmental committee for which my Department are responsible is the steering committee on the implementation of the Report of the Public Services Organisation Review Group (1969) in the Department of Education which are examining the feasibility of restructuring the Department of Education in accordance with the terms of the report. The committee comprise representatives of my Department and of the Department of the Public Service. They were set up in September 1980 and meet about three times a year. It is not intended that the committee will publish a report. My Department are represented on inter-departmental committees set up by other Departments details of which will be supplied by the relevant Ministers.
