It is a condition of the EEC suckler cow premium scheme that an applicant must earn at least 50 per cent of his income from farming activities.

As the person named has indicated that he earned more outside the farm than from his farming activities in the income tax year ended 5 April 1981, he is not eligible for payment of premium.

The person named was not an applicant under the 1981 cattle headage and sheep headage schemes and was not eligible for those schemes in any event as he was not then a registered herdowner.
