asked the Minister for Education if he will confirm that as part of the building programme for the Killinardan community school, Tallaght, County Dublin, the first phase of the 14 classrooms will be available for use by the first week of September 1983; and, if not, if he will confirm that the equivalent number of temporary classrooms will be available on site by that date.

asked the Minister for Education if he will give the up-to-date position concerning Killinardan community school, County Dublin, and when work will commence.

The contract for the construction of the new Killinardan community school in Tallaght has been awarded and it is expected that work on the site will be commenced on 1 November next.
As it will not be possible to have part of the building available in September 1983 arrangements will be made for the school to operate in temporary accommodation until the new building is ready for occupation in September 1984.

asked the Minister for Education when building work will commence on the new community school for Brookfield, Tallaght, County Dublin; and when it is estimated that the work will be completed.
Construction of the new second level school at Brookfield, Tallaght is scheduled for commencement in autumn 1983 and completion by summer 1985.

asked the Minister for Education the provision being made for pupil places in September 1983 having regard to the fact that St. Mark's Community School, Springfield, Tallaght, County Dublin, will have exceeded its maximum capacity by then.
I am satisfied that the places available at Springfield and Killinardan community schools will be adequate to meet the needs of the general west Tallaght area in September 1983.
