The proposed Meelin group water scheme will receive its water supply from the county council public water scheme at Meelin.
Work on the group scheme will commence on completion of the headworks by Cork County Council. These headworks are part of the Ballinatona regional water supply scheme stage I, contract documents for which are being amended by the local authority. It is not possible at this stage to say when work on the group scheme will commence.
