Ceisteanna—Questions. Written Answers. - Youth Employment Agency.
The estimated number of young persons participating in schemes coming under the aegis of the Youth Employment Agency in 1982 is 33,700.
The numbers involved in the principal employment, training and work experience programmes are as follows: 1. Training organised by AnCO in its own centres and externally, 18,100; 2. Work Experience Programme, 9,000; 3. Temporary employment on environmental works/provision of community facilities, 3,800; 4. Training organised by CERT Ltd., 1,350. The balance of the number is accounted for by a variety of smaller schemes for employment and training of young persons financed by the Youth Employment Agency.
