The following parcels of undeveloped land in County Clare have been acquired by the Commissioners of Public Works: — 1. A site at Kilrush Road, Ennis, intended for offices for decentralisation of Government staffs. 2. A site at Kilmihill for a Garda Station and residence. Neither of the projects at 1 and 2 above will commence in 1983.
In addition, the Commissioners have acquired about 1,000 acres in the Mullaghmore area of the Burren as a nucleus of a National Park, and it is proposed to acquire further lands for this purpose.
