A sub-post office can only be established in the Bawnogue area of Clondalkin, County Dublin, when a suitable candidate with satisfactory premises in a central location is forthcoming. Applications were invited on a number of occasions, and a canvass of the traders in the Bawnogue Shopping Centre was carried out without success. It is intended to advertise the vacancy again early in 1983.
