Agreements for telephone service were signed by 370 applicants in the area mentioned. Service has been provided for 250 of the applicants and it is expected that service will be provided for the remainder progressively over the next six to eight weeks.
In a number of cases unexpected difficulties arose in connection with the cables after the telephone instrument had been installed. It is expected that the difficulties will be resolved and service will be provided for the applicants involved progressively over the next six to eight weeks.
