The then Government's decision to make £30 million available to Comhlucht Siúicre Éireann Teo in 1982 was conditional on the submission by the company of a clear and specific programme for the rationalisation of their activities. Pending consideration by the Government of the programme it is not possible to announce any decisions thereon.
