An application under my Department's attic insulation grant scheme was received from this person on 21 December 1982. The application will be processed in the normal course and, if it is found to be in order, a payable order for the correct grant due will be issued.
The announcement of the termination of the scheme as from the end of 1982 resulted in a very substantial increase in the number of applications. There is at present a back-log of cases to be dealt with and this is being done as quickly as is possible.
