asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when a telephone service will be provided for a person (details supplied) in County Roscommon as he paid the installation fees last April.

When the person named was invited to sign an agreement and make advance payment it was expected that telephone service would be provided for him within about three months. Regrettably this was not possible because of an unforeseen difficulty. It is expected that service will be provided within about six weeks.
