: I have received the request in question and am having the general position examined. Since taking office, I have provided an additional £31.5 million in rate support grants in excess of that provided in the previous Government's Estimates for the Public Services published last November. The High Court decision to which the Deputy refers is at present under appeal to the Supreme Court and it is therefore premature to anticipate the outcome.
