asked the Minister for Fisheries and Forestry the number of fishing boats over 70' in size whose owners are in arrears with their repayments; and the total interest at 31 March 1983.
: I propose to take Questions Nos. 654 and 655 together.
There are currently 321 vessels under 70 foot and 54 vessels over 70 foot in arrears with An Bord Iascaigh Mhara. The total amount of principle and interest in arrears is an approximately £3 million. A separate record is not kept of the interest content.
