The branch manager of the employment office, Enniscorthy, has been endeavouring to obtain new and better accommodation but has not been successful to date. She has made inquiries about two premises which the Deputy had suggested previously might be suitable but although one of these premises would have been suitable, the owners would not agree to lease it. The other premises were not considered suitable and would not have been an improvement on the existing premises.
The branch manager is continuing her efforts to procure alternative accommodation. In the meantime changes have been made in the signing and pay arrangements with a view to relieving congestion.
