asked the Minister for Finance if he is aware that Drogheda Corporation have been waiting for approximately 15 Ordnance Survey maps (one in a thousand maps) for some considerable time from the Ordnance Survey Office and that as a result considerable delay is being created in processing property transactions and development within the town of Drogheda; if he will arrange to have these maps forwarded to the Town Clerk, Drogheda Corporation, without further delay; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The survey of Drogheda on the scale of 1:1000 was completed on 4 May 1983. Prepublication material for the plans is already available. The new maps will be published later this year and early in 1984. The Ordnance Survey Office will advise Drogheda Corporation immediately when published sheets are available. There has been no undue delay in completing the survey.
