II. The amount of the grant in lieu of tuition fees is the same for all recognised pupils in the Free Post-primary Education Scheme and it has been payable at the following rates since 1967:
From 1 August, 1967 * Minimum £15. Maximum £25 per pupil.
From 1 August, 1968 * Minimum £20. Maximum £25 per pupil.
From 1 August, 1972 £25 per pupil.
From 1 August, 1974 £35 per pupil.
From 1 August, 1975 £50 per pupil.
From 1 January, 1978 £66.50 per pupil.
From 1 August, 1979 £70 per pupil.
From 1 August, 1981 £77 per pupil.
From 1 January, 1982 £82 per pupil.
From 1 January, 1983 £92 per pupil.
*In the first year of the Free Post-Primary Education Scheme, schools were paid grants equivalent to the fees charged to their pupils in the school year 1965-66, subject to these maximum limits. The minimum was increased to £20 in 1968 and a flat rate of £25 was payable from 1972.
