asked the Minister for Education when clearance will be given by her Department to Meath vocational education committee to enable Nobber vocational school, County Meath, to go for contract.
I propose to take Questions Nos. 391 and 392 together.
The seeking of tenders for the proposed new vocational school at Nobber cannot arise for consideration until the design process has been completed. Detailed design proposals received for the project from the County Meath Vocational Education Committee are currently undergoing technical examination in my Department's Building Unit. This examination will be completed shortly and my Department will then be in touch with the committee in the normal way regarding further progress. The next stage in this case will be the preparation of bills of quantities and tender documents.
