I propose to take Questions Nos. 603 and 604 together.
The information requested is set out on the attached table. It is not possible to state when all the properties listed will be disposed of but it is hoped that those marked with an asterisk will be wholly or partly allotted within the next six months or so.
The Land Commission have standing instructions to dispose of all land and buildings as quickly as possible following acquisition. To this end I have assigned additional inspectors to work in counties Westmeath and Longford with a view to speeding up the allocation programme in these counties. However, having regard to the amount of land on hands and the staff resources available, it would not be possible to have all the lands divided before the end of 1984.
