asked the Minister for Education if she will reconsider her decision and issue sanction to Galway County Vocational Education Committee to pay the third instalment of scholarships to hotel and catering students (details supplied) in Galway Regional Technical College in view of the fact that they were not at their regular addresses when their original cheques were issued due to the fact that they were on work experience at various hotels at the time.

When a reply is received from County Galway Vocational Education Committee to inquiries from my Department in relation to this matter, the question of sanction for payment of the relevant portion of the scholarship will receive immediate attention.
