Cleaning of head office in Dublin and certain provincial offices is done by contract cleaners and my Department would not have details regarding pay or conditions of service. The other provincial offices are cleaned by part-time workers employed directly by the Department. Their conditions of service and rates of pay are those laid down by the Department of the Public Service. The current hourly rate of pay is £2.584.
