The application in this case was for the installation of sewerage facilities, the building of a chimney, and bathroom, and the carrying out of necessary repairs. A grant cannot be allowed for the building of a chimney as there is an existing one in the house. Grants have been approved in respect of the other categories. When the applicant notifies my Department that the works are finished a final inspection will then be arranged to establish whether or not the works have been carried out in accordance with the terms of the approval issued.
