Applications from schools for remedial posts are examined by my Department and posts are allocated to the schools from the available allocation of teachers in accordance with a priority of need.
An application for a shared remedial post from either of the two schools in question would be carefully considered in the circumstances obtaining in relation to the creation of any such posts for the 1984-85 school year.
