It is assumed that the Deputy is referring to schemes for which grants have been sought by groups but have not been allocated to date by the Department. The information sought in respect of these schemes is as follows:—

Initial inquiries about the availability of grant assistance towards additional works in this completed scheme were made in 1982. The eligibility for second grants of the improvement works now proposed for the scheme is under examination, and a decision will be made in the matter as soon as possible |
In the event of grants being allocated for these schemes, interim payments will be made on the basis of expenditure incurred on them, as certified by my Department's local inspector. The final payment will be made when the works have been completed satisfactorily and all grant requirements have been met.
There has been no avoidable delay in processing these proposals.
