Difficulties were experienced in tracing this application which was made in January 1980 under the scheme of grants terminated in 1981. The case has now been referred to the Department's inspector to investigate the applicant's entitlement to a grant.

There is no record in my Department of the receipt of an application for mortgage subsidy from the person named. However, a grant has been approved in respect of an application under the house improvement grants scheme by a person of the name and address supplied.
