Regulations dealing with the standards of formerly controlled dwellings are at present being drafted. It is my aim to make the regulations before the end of the year.
The Housing (Private Rented Dwellings) Act was passed in 1982, more than two years ago and the Government were required to make regulations. Will the Minister now give a commitment that they will be ready before the end of this session?
