The Department does not keep separate records of these amounts. The youth employment levy did not become a component of this deduction until 6 April 1982 and the income levy was not introduced until 6 April 1983. The information in relation to teachers in secondary, comprehensive and community schools prior to 1979-80 is not readily available.
