Vol. 354 No. 12

Written Answers. - Natural Family Planning.

221.

asked the Minister for Health the names of the organisations which teach and promote natural family planning that received an allocation of funds in the past three years; the amount received; and if it is his intention to ensure that such funding is continued.

Allocations have been made in the past three years to the Catholic Marriage Advisory Council and the National Association for the Ovulation Method in Ireland. CMAC have been allocated £25,000 in 1982, £27,500 in 1983 and £30,000 in 1984 and NAOMI received £20,000 in 1982 and £17,000 in 1983. The question of future grant aid being made available for these organisations is under examination by me at present.
