asked the Minister for the Environment if extra moneys will be allocated to Cashel Urban District Council for urban road improvements as some of the roads within the urban area are in severe disrepair; and in particular if a special allocation will be granted to resurface John Street, Cashel, as this road is almost impassable.

The road grant provisions for 1984 have already been fully allocated. I will bear the needs of Cashel Urban District Council in mind when determining the 1985 allocations, having regard to the level of funds available to me.
