Details of the proposals made to me by the chairman of Irish Shipping Limited in relation to the future of the company must be treated as confidential. I can assure the Deputy, however, that every possible option in relation to the future of Irish Shipping Limited was identified and examined in considerable depth before the Government took the decision not to provide additional finance for the company.
