My Department has agreed to this project proceeding to contract. The Commissioners of Public Works have been in contact with the school authorities and their architect with regard to the placing of a contract.

Tender documentation in respect of the proposed extension to St. Saren's secondary school, Ferbane, County Offaly, is under examination. The information given to the Department is incomplete and the Department has written to the school manager accordingly. When this information is received it will be considered in the Department. Approval for the placing of the contract will be given as soon as the matter has been resolved satisfactorily.
