Proposals of this kind now fall to be dealt with under the new scheme for the provision of subsidised capital to remedy serious structural defects in rented local authority houses. This scheme was announced in the national plan and full details of its operation were issued to all local authorities on 10 January. It is now a matter for Dublin Corporation to consider whether they should submit proposals under the scheme in respect of the Cloverhill Estate.
