I understand from the Commissioners of Public Works that they still await submission to them by the school authorities of a cost plan for the proposed new central national school for Dunally/Calry, County Sligo. Following receipt of this document the commissioners hope to be in a position to furnish for my Department's consideration a sketch scheme for the project, including a cost estimate which would be the basis for negotiation of a local contribution towards the cost of the project. I should add that the cost plan, as such, is a technical planning document, and the question of my Department examining or approving it does not arise.
