Imports of potatoes amounted to 111.2 thousand tonnes, value £26.4 million in 1982; 60.2 thousand tonnes, value £18.3 million in 1983 and 55.5 thousand tonnes value £22.6 million in the period January/September 1984 which is the latest for which this data is available.
