This applicant has been asked to notify my Department when certain outstanding works have been carried out. When the notification is received an inspection will be arranged with a view to payment of the grant, if in order.

asked the Minister for the Environment when sanction will be given for the payment of the £5,000 housing grant to persons (details supplied) in County Louth.
The processing of applications for the £5,000 grant is a matter for the appropriate local authority up to the payment certification stage. In this case the grant will be paid by my Department when the appropriate payment certificate is received from Drogheda Corporation.

asked the Minister for the Environment the reasons for the delay in paying a house improvement grant due to a person (details supplied) in County Limerick.
Pending the carrying out of certain remedial works to the house in question a grant for the provision of bathroom facilities cannot be paid in this case. The applicant has been so informed. On receipt of notification that the particular works have been carried out a further inspection will be arranged with a view to payment of the grant, if in order. A sewerage grant of £200 was paid on 13 December 1984.
