I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that the taxpayer ceased employment on 9 November 1984, and subsequently submitted three claims to the inspector for repayment of tax on the grounds of unemployment. These claims have been dealt with and all the tax deducted from the taxpayer's earnings for the current tax year has now been refunded to her.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will arrange a refund of PAYE income tax to a person (details supplied) in County Carlow where the claim was made approximately four months ago.
I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioner that the inspector of taxes has not been able to trace any claim from the taxpayer for repayment of tax. The inspector will now communicate directly with the taxpayer in the matter.
