The Irish Potato Farmers' Co-operative Society Limited, with 12 constituent producer groups, was set up and registered in 1984. A sum of £75,000 is provided for in my Department's Estimates for 1985 to help the co-operative continue to improve the efficiency and organisation of the potato sector.
