Vol. 357 No. 7

Written Answers. - Special National School (Dublin).

872.

asked the Minister for Education in view of representations already made to her in relation to the case of a person (details supplied) in Dublin 9 and as a final or satisfactory reply on the matter has not as yet been received, if she will now give an up-to-date reply.

The Deputy is, I take it, referring to the aquisition of alternative premises for use by a special national school temporarily recognised in the Dublin Inner City.

Following protracted negotiations with the owner of the premises in question, it was agreed by the owner to rent the premises to the Department of Education for the purpose mentioned. The school transferred to this premises in September 1984 and has been accommodated there to date.
