It is understood that an alternative site has now been acquired for the sewage treatment works and this will necessitate a revision in the contract documents that have already been submitted to my Department. In addition, the present design of the pumping station is also being examined by the council. Further consideration of the proposal must therefore await the submission and examination of the revised contract documents.
