One of the recommendations made in the report in question which was published by the Threshold Research Committee in 1982 was that a working party representative of tenants, landlords, voluntary bodies and Government Departments should be set up to develop guidelines in relation to a number of matters affecting the private rented sector. I received a letter recently from Threshold in which they asked that I consider setting up such a working party and I am at present considering the matter.
