An inspection with a view to approval of a house improvement grant will be carried out as soon as possible. As a grant has not yet been approved, the question of payment does not yet arise.

asked the Minister for the Environment if he will arrange for the immediate payment of a new house grant to a person (details supplied) in County Clare.
A grant will be paid in this case when an inspector establishes that the house is complete and occupied and complies with all other conditions of the grant scheme. The relevant file was referred to the inspector on 3 April 1985 and he has been requested to expedite his report.
