I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that an amended certificate of tax-free allowances for 1984-85, to take account of relief in respect of loan interest, was issued to the taxpayer on 22 March 1985. Her employer has confirmed that a tax rebate was included in the taxpayer's pay for the week ended on 28 March 1985, when the amended certificate was put into operation. On the basis of the information available to the inspector there is no further tax refund due in this case.
